SpiceJet clears all dues with Airports Authority of India

BENGALURU, Aug 2 (Reuters)Indian low-cost service SpiceJet Ltd SPJT.NS stated on Tuesday it had cleared all its excellent principal dues with the Airports Authority of India, which owns and operates airports within the nation.

The airline will revert to advance fee mechanism for its day by day operations, it added, days after the aviation regulator ordered the low-cost airline to slash its accepted fleet to 50% this summer time for eight weeks citing security snags.
